8 year old Meera Menon of Little Readers Nook, Mumbai takes us into this beautiful faraway land, where a child can alone sit in a meadow without any fear, not meet any big bad wolves on the way to grandma’s and where parents can build a house overnight to keep that child happy. Thanks Meera for helping us understand what a world without fear and limitations, looks like.

Once upon a time there was a little house in the woods.
In the house, there lived a couple and their child Viveca, who loved nature very much. One day her mother told her to take a basket of cookies to grandma because she wanted to see her.
On her way to grandma’s cottage, she saw a gorgeous meadow of daisies. She sat there for a few minutes and enjoyed the experience. She also thought of taking some daisies for her grandma, so she quickly planted some of them in a pot. Grandma loved the flower pot and the cookies.
When Viveca reached home, she told her parents about the meadow. Then her parents had an idea to surprise Viveca. At night when Viveca was asleep, they went out to get some logs and went straight away to the meadow Viveca told them about.
The next day Viveca woke up to a lovely surprise. She was so happy & excited about it. Do you know what was it ??
It was a beautiful house right in the middle of daisies! That day onwards they lived happily in the MEADOW OF DAISIES
