Christmas arrives in December,
It is surely a day to remember !
On this day Jesus was born,
In an untidy shed and a crib that was torn.
People followed a star to Bethlehem…
Bearing gifts for Jesus, in his time dark and grim.
People think it is all about presents,
But that is not what Christmas represents!
Christmas represents the joy of giving,
We should help people who work to earn a living.
The Christmas trees are very tall..
And are decorated with candy canes and glittering balls.
On the top of the tree lies a star,
Shining its light till very far!
There are reindeers, that guide Santa’s sleigh in the night,
Led by Rudolph the red nose’s bright light!
They are- Dasher and Dancer, Prancer and Vixen,
Comet and Cupid, Donner and Blitzen.
On Christmas it is usually chilly and cold…
We make cookies with snowman, and gingerbread man shaped moulds!
Christmas cake is what people love to eat,
As it is tasty,fruity and very sweet!
The Christmas colours are red,green and white
On Christmas, joy is the only sight!
