I woke up excitedly because it is Diwali.
Received so many sweetmeats and gifts.
Many relatives came home wearing beautiful clothes.
Some friends called me on the telephone.
Around the deity a lot of flowers were poured.
O! I am so delighted it is Diwali.
Our building was decorated with flowers and glitters.
We made rangoli, ladoo and barfi.
Rockets flew throughout the sky.
We burst firecrackers low and high.
The flowerpots bloomed with beautiful flowers.
Oh! I am very very happy it is Diwali.
