Be it school or work, everything uses the internet. I wonder if there was a world without the internet.
Before the Covid-19 pandemic started, we hardly knew any gadgets. From March 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic forced people to be caged inside their houses with the school, colleges and offices shut. Indeed, making us further inclined towards gadgets.
Without the Covid-19 pandemic I wouldn’t have been able to have a good vocabulary nor would I be able to get more passionate about my hobby. During this time period we have learnt how to shop online, and buy fresh vegetables online itself. However, some people use it for a bad cause like cheating in exams, making lame excuses of sickness or tech issues to skip work or school.
The internet was like an opening to Pandora’s Box. People prefer video games over board games leading to excess screen time itself.
I totally agree that we are creating excess screen time for ourselves. By the end of the day we are so exhausted that our eyes are deep red in colour. However, the internet is not so bad after all as many people honed new talents and also rediscovered them.
We also celebrated online birthdays. It wouldn’t be possible without the internet after all! If I give you a choice to choose between family time or internet, what would you choose?
