‘Happy Children’s Day’ Poem by 11 year old Saanvi Choudhary from Kolkata

On 14th November is Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday,
He loved kids and that is why children’s day is celebrated.
We should respect his love and pray,
That all children have a fabulous day.

We should celebrate it with enthusiasm and all our might,
And get gifts and surprises from our loved ones.
Celebrating this day with all our delight,
After this day ends we should say to our parents, “Thanks a ton!”

Having fun is the most important thing,
In school getting blessing from teachers.
This is the day we all wait for,
Happy Children’s Day to all the children of the world!
