I’m searching for a search,
Not harsh like the sun,
Not dim like the moon,
A light that stays and doesn’t run.
I’m searching for sense,
Not bold, not haunting,
Not sweet, not sour,
Just a sense of belonging.
I’m searching for a search.
That makes my smile better,
That doesn’t make me cry,
While I’m staring at the mirror.
