In 1757 they acquired power
Which made our independence cower
The freedom fighters fought for the independence of our land

The Britishers ruled for 200 years
They didn’t see people shedding their tears
We acquired independence in 1947
Mahatma Gandhi
Was an angel sent from heaven.
Finally, India was free
Paving its way as a republic country.
