Newborn puppy - Helping a hurt dog

One day when I was returning home from tuition I saw a newborn stray puppy at the corner of the road.

It was bleeding and there was a blister on its foot. My heart broke seeing its state.

I picked it up, took it home and asked my mother to take me to an animal hospital.

I spoke to the vet about it and asked her if the puppy could be cured. She said it could be cured but needed proper food, water and pampering for at least 5 months.

I agreed happily and said I would keep it as my pet. When I reached home, the puppy was making happy sounds. I loved to see it eat, drink and run around my house. I taught it to walk slowly and nursed its foot.

Three months had gone by. I went to the vet for a checkup with my puppy. The vet said that I could put him in a pet school where dogs and puppies get trained. I was sad and happy at the same time. I was happy that my puppy would get a good training with other dogs but sad that I would have to part from him even if it was for a few hours in a day.
I put the dog in the dog school and felt happy that I helped the puppy.
