If I were an IG (Inspector General) – Prisons, then I would first check if hygiene is maintained.
Hygiene is important because if a person maintains poor hygiene, he will be prone to diseases, and even worse they can spread diseases.
I would supply soaps and sanitizers. I would tell workers to clean the washrooms. Next thing, I would keep the prisoners busy so that they would not get time to commit a crime.
I would keep them busy by making them do gardening and even make them learn about different things like the beauty of nature.
I will teach them about hobbies. Slowly, they will learn more hobbies and spend time on them, keeping them productive. I would also celebrate different occasions and teach the message about them like Raksha Bandhan, Eid, and Christmas.
