The freedom we get
Oh, it comes with a price;
A price that we forget to revise.
We take it for granted,
That’s when our dreams get haunted.
Running around, catching butterflies,
Touching the skies,
All become goodbyes.
When some virus comes knocking,
It all feels shocking.
Weeks and weeks of isolation,
But still infinite and invincible determination.
We are distant,
But we stand together,
And together, we shall overcome.
