‘What India Means To Me’ Essay by 12 year old Bookosmian from Bangalore

India is a beautiful country where there is greenery everywhere. When non- Indians hear the name ‘India’, they usually think of temples, chutney, holy places and tradition. But India isn’t just those things.

Our country is filled with kind-hearted people from different religions, places, and colour. It has greenery everywhere. Kashmir is known as ‘heaven on earth’ while Kerala is known as ‘God’s own country’. Agra has the ‘Taj Mahal’, one of the seven wonders of the world.

Every place in India is unique and has its own significance. The structure of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is the world’s tallest statue and I am really proud about it. There are almost 553 wildlife sanctuaries in India. The clothes wore by people are traditional and includes beautiful embroidery. The jewels are just awesome.

So with this, I think India is like a beautiful plant that blooms beautifully at the end of the day, no matter what.
